TRAINING LABS Our multi media labs give students an oprrotunity to learn and experiment with the latest creative technology. Media techs are on hand to help students work on their projects.
FLORENCE The Florence Film School working together with The Tuscan Film Commission and our Media Partners The Florentine and The English Yellow Pages will host this year’s first International Student Film Festival. This will be part of the 50 Days of Cinema Festival. Students
interning in this event will have the opportunity to work directly with
the marketing and distribution aspects of film making. International
students that qualify will have the opportunity to premier their films,
attend gala parties and participate in our unique Teaching and Learning Symposiums
with professional film makers from all over the world! Program

Internship lasts for 8 weeks during the Fall Semester .The cost is 3,500

INTERNSHIPS Students
attending the spring semester will have anopportunity to take
their film shorts to the Cannes Film Short Corner
FOUR WEEK INTENSIVES Students
will explore and understand the psychology of Art then translate
those skills into the visual and auditory language of directing,
acting, cinematography, editing, and sound design while tapping
into a more infinite creative part of themselves and utilizing the
creative environs of Exercises
in relaxation techniques, brain mapping, creative
drawing and journaling, interpretation of dreams, hidden imagery,
symbols and the power of metaphor will be used as a way to help
the group access and create fresh and original stories that have
depth. Accessing
this kind of originality is key for emerging artists and film
makers who want to have their films and pitches stand out at film
festivals, or to distribution companies and acquisition agents. Julia Cameron The Artist’s Way The
Inner Journey of the Writer Workshop 2,500 Euros Utilizing
the theme of story
telling through the ages and the Art Treasures of Florence
students will take a walk through time drawing inspiration from
paintings, frescos, sculptures and other Art Treasures created
during the Renaissance by the great artists and poets
such as
Dante, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and Giotto. Students
will then learn the craft of good story structure taken from Jungian
archetypes, myths, fables and the past literary masters who have
carved our current concepts of literature. Students will learn to
utilize both hemispheres of the brain in a nurturing, supportive
and creative environment as they learn the secrets of Joseph
Campbell’s Mythic Story Structure and then break the rules to
create something highly original and unique. Students
will also explore and work with new creative writing vehicles such
a creating live interactive events, creating performance art and
utilizing the evolving documentary formats. Within
the Writer’s workshop are a series of Infinite Human Workshops
which is a magnificent Journey into your limitless potential.
We are designed to be a
reflection of the Infinite! Students will have the opportunity to create short independent film projects that will be connected together as one whole project and premiered at The Florence International Film Festival. The Director's Craft Workshop
Impressions of
Students
will have the opportunity to write, direct and produce a film
short for our section Impressions of Tuscany in The Florence
International Film Festival. This
workshop is composed of hands on experience of working on the
production and post production of a film short that has been green
lighted for professional production by The Infinite Human
Production Company. It will involve learning how to master the HD
Digital format. Writing

on location Editing Promotion
and Marketing preparing for the film festival.
STUDENT PROJECTS Students will
complete a number of independent and collaborative films and multi media
projects during the program. Students in the graduate program as will also
complete their own independent thesis project approved by the staff. Our production company Infinite Human Productions produces and promotes student films that have been green lighted for our professional production track.
Film
Distribution Avenues: Unlike
many Film and Performance schools The Florence Film School is committed to
helping our students find and achieve success upon graduation. We give our
students opportunities during their studies to intern with professional
production companies here in

have the opportunity to premiere their films The Florence International
Film Festival and intern in the 50 days of cinema international film
festival hosted here in
Students
also have the possibility of attending and/or interning at The Cannes Film
Festival and having their film shorts premiered at The Short Film Corner
in the Cannes Film Festival. They
will have the opportunity to attend parties and happy hours with other
film makers, pitch their latest film projects to professional production
companies and enter into competitions. PROFESSIONAL
ITALIAN CLASSES Non EU Students
who do not speak Italian and need visas are required to take our
professional Italian course. The cost is 1,800 euros HOUSING AND
EXPENSES Apartments in
the center of ADMISSIONS Students must be
proficient in the English Language. Students must be
at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent

limited number of scholarships available for students who qualify for our Teaching/

need to have professional and /or educational experience in one of the

documentation for you to receive a student visa. However
if you inform us that you have received this guarantee from the Italian
Consul in your country and after providing all the necessary documentation
you are not granted a visa we will deny refunding the tuition paid. This is
to ensure that we recieve only serious applicants and do not waste
